Theater kid turned non-profit founder, holistic health coach, and app developer—Asha’s journey has taken her from community health to wellness entrepreneurship. She created Asha Walker Wellness (AWW), a vibrant platform and community that offers educational and inspirational content alongside practical tools for holistic living. AWW is built on the belief that wellness is for everyone, breaking down barriers to health with a focus on three core pillars: Food, Movement, and Longevity.

Asha’s path to wellness wasn’t easy. In her twenties, she hit a turning point—facing toxic relationships, losing a beloved job, and feeling lost. She realized she had to ask herself a tough question: Were her choices healing or hurting her? This question sparked a transformation. Asha began practicing intentional habits, shifting her mindset from punishing her body to nourishing it. Through integrating food, movement, and longevity practices into her daily routine, she discovered a new vibrancy in her life. She found her purpose and began living by a higher set of standards, never looking back.

This is the AWW Approach. Food, Movement, and Longevity—the pillars of a balanced, vibrant life.

“I believe everyone has the right to live a vibrant life,” says Asha. “We all have the power to create a ripple effect of health, spreading happiness and wellness to the world around us.”


Asha embodies her values in every aspect of her life. As the Founder & CEO of Health in the Hood, she leads a non-profit organization dedicated to creating equal access to fresh food through urban gardens and wellness programs. In 2022, she became a certified holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.


This October, Asha is launching Cured, a holistic wellness app under the AWW umbrella. Cured offers over 70 modules designed around the pillars of Food, Movement, and Longevity. From hydration and sleep hygiene to mindfulness and movement motivation, Cured guides users through wellness practices that help them uncover the root causes of their health challenges. It’s an app built for everyone—whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just beginning your wellness journey, Cured offers functional content that supports your goals at your own pace.

Unlike other wellness apps that offer one-size-fits-all solutions, Cured focuses on the "why" behind wellness practices. It empowers users to become their own health coaches, their own healers, and ultimately, their own cure. Designed to spark curiosity and make consistency effortless, Cured helps users integrate holistic wellness into their daily lives with ease.

Known for her extensive experience in the wellness industry, Asha is celebrated for her energetic, vibrant, and caring nature. Passionate about healthy living, the healing power of movement, the outdoors, and helping others unlock their potential, Asha not only talks the talk—she walks it. Her mission is to help others discover just how good they can feel.

Asha’s path wasn’t seamless, nor was it linear. She once measured health by numbers—calories, waistlines, scales. Trapped in a cycle of binge eating, over-exercising, and nutrient-poor fasting, her body and mind suffered. But ten years ago, Asha began to embrace the concept of whole wellness. She started living mindfully—eating intuitively, listening to her body, and quieting her mind. This transformation from the inside out led her to where she is today, shining brighter than ever. Despite ongoing struggles with perfectionism, Asha’s journey is a testament to the power of continuous self-care and growth.
